Student Services at Tribeca Flashpoint College is designed to be your one-stop shop to everything student related. At TFC you will be provided with academic guidance, leadership, engagement, as well as referrals to academic support available to improve both your professional and educational success. Your Instructor is your first point of contact if you are struggling in a course. Contact your instructor to share your concerns and seek assistance.


Your Academic Advisor is here to help each student achieve their career, educational, and personal goals by facilitating, guiding and assisting them through the decision-making process as a college student.


Tutoring in all subjects is provided to TFC students. The Department of Academic Assistance provides all students with supplemental instruction and support. To learn more, please contact or your instructors directly for extra support in individual courses.



Writing Lab is available for students who would like to have a paper reviewed, get assistance with writing a paper and assistance in all areas of written communication.


Math Lab provides tutoring for students currently enrolled in math classes as well as assistance in math related questions for discipline courses.

For either of these services, please contact and indicate you are seeking support from the writing or math lab.



A Ventra U-Pass is given to all full-time students at Tribeca Flashpoint College. A student should receive their U-Pass during their first week of class. If you have any questions about Ventra U-Pass, check out our FAQ page:



Clubs are available for all student to join. It is a great way to get involved on campus and meet your classmates with similar interests. Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society recognizes excellent academic achievement. To be a member of Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society,  you must display “excellence in classroom, shop, studio, and laboratory work; leadership and service in class and school activities; and personal integrity and good moral character.” You must also have a 3.5 Cumulative GPA to be invited to join. Student Ambassadors are a very important component to the TFC community. Student Ambassadors are given the opportunity to get involved with campus tours, leadership workshops and volunteering while representing their college. Student Ambassadors are expected to attend monthly meetings and TFC events throughout the year. TFC’s IT Helpdesk

Students can submit a helpdesk ticket to TFC’s IT Helpdesk through email at Students can also call TFC’s IT Helpdesk at 312.506.0609. The IT Helpdesk is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. The IT Helpdesk can help with common issues such as password reset, access to the student portal and Blackboard login issues.

Tribeca Flashpoint College has an online library that all students can access at The online library contains access to databases, ebooks and Kanopy which is where you can stream movies. You can also chat with a librarian through the website.



Academic Calendar

Each trimester consists of an A + B session or B + A session. A session consists of 7.5 weeks. Students whose start date is prior to July 9, 2014 will have classes that span 15 weeks as opposed to 7.5 weeks. Check out the 2015-2016 Catalog!

The Counseling Department hours may vary per trimester, so please check directly with your Student Services Manager or the Counseling Department for hours.
