Cameron (Cam) Marshall

Film/Editing

Cam is a 2015 Film graduate who is currently a Content Productions Specialist with the Cincinnati Reds. We asked Cam a few questions and here's what he had to say!

What do you like most about working with the Cincinnati Reds?

What I like most about my job is being able to combine my love for cameras and editing with my passion for sports. The coolest thing about creating a video for a major league baseball team is that during a game I know 60,000 people will all be watching my video at once for the first time.

What piece of advice do you have for TFC candidates currently job searching?

My advice for current students who are looking for their first college job is to not be afraid to move to where the jobs are. Don't limit yourself to one city because your resume and skill set might allow you stand out in a different market.

COUNSELING CENTER

Arraon Hixson

Digital Art

Arraon is currently working on a very cool project, which started as a challenge consisting of him giving out 10,000 hugs in 7 days. Now it's a full-blown social experiment about how connected we are as a human race and how we show love differently according to race, age, social and economic status. Arraon has two questions for us: "What is Love?" and "How do you show it?"
Arraon's goal is to get the greenlight for this project. If it all goes as planned, he will be in Chicago in late August to tape it.

GOOD LUCK, ARRAON!

The Counseling Team will not be in session during the month of July and the majority of the month of August.

Their office hours will resume at the end of August and the new team of counselors will be introduced at that time.

Lollapalooza - Set between Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, Lollapalooza is the city's largest music festival, boasting numbers of attendance well in the six digits on a regular day. in 2016, Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, LCD Soundsystem and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline, accompanied by equally exciting acts such as Disclosure, Bloc Party, Danny Brown and more. Taking over all of Grant Park, Lollapalooza is one of the best festivals in the country with a sweet bonus—no camping. To celebrate the festival's 25th anniversary, this year there will be four days of music (instead of three). Start stretching your legs and stocking up on sunscreen.
