Tuesday, February  7th, 2017

 

   11:30AM  

Employers check in at 28 North Clark St., 5th Floor – Student Affairs/Career Services will be there to welcome guests and escort them to their assigned tables, in The Matrix, room 530.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

When, where and what time is the Internship Fair?
The 2017 Internship Fair will take place on Tuesday, February 7th from 12:00pm - 2:00pm and will be located at 28 N. Clark Street in The Matrix, room 530


Who can attend the Internship Fair?
The 2017 Internship Fair is open to all students who are in good academic and financial aid standing and who have registered to attend. Students must also submit a résumé for approval by Career Services in order to attend. 

What do I need to bring with me?
In order to attend the Internship Fair you must bring at least 25 copies of a Career Services approved résumé. Bonus items include: portfolios, reels and/or other project samples. You are free to bring laptops and/or tablets to show your work. 

 

Résumés are due to Career Services by January, 24th. If you miss this deadline, you will NOT be able to attend the Internship Fair.

Can I attend the fair without a résumé?
No. You must have your résumé approved by Career Services in order to be approved for attendance.

 

How do I get my résumé approved by Career Services?

E-mail careerservices@tribecaflashpoint.edu if you have questions or need assistance creating a résumé. 
 

What if I don't have a résumé?
E-mail careerservices@tribecaflashpoint.edu to set up a time so that they can assist in helping you develop one. 

 

What should I wear?

We suggest business casual attire. This generally means neat yet casual clothes and is generally more casual than informal, but more formal than casual or smart casual attire. Please avoid clothes with holes, stains, wrinkles or offensive language and/or images.
